Background

The Challenge

ElectronVault, Inc. began in an effort to solve a single problem: energy storage for zero-emission electric vehicles. Gas-electric hybrid vehicles came into existence as an economic necessity because electric vehicles required large numbers of expensive batteries. Plug-in Hybrids (PHEVs) have emerged as an attempt to move closer to the lower energy consumption, decreased emissions standard of a fully electric vehicle. PHEVs require additional batteries as well as added control electronics which creates a challenge: PHEVs are good for the environment but have negative ROI for both the manufacturer and the consumer.

ElectronVault's patent-pending designs have been engineered to provide the long-sought energy storage capacity and power required for PHEV applications in an affordable package.

We are not bound to a particular energy storage technology and are adaptable to new energy storage elements as they appear, maximizing safety, energy density, and power density while controlling complexity and cost. Although our market entry product is in the automotive space, our technology and expertise is not limited to that area.
